As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Alexis is deeply passionate about helping clients find more peace, compassion, and joy in their lives. Alexis received her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Mississippi and her Master of Social Work from Tulane University in 2021. Her specialties include working with individuals struggling with self-esteem, anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, grief and loss. Alexis offers a warm and supportive environment to help clients heal and find support during difficult times. Alexis utilizes evidence-based theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems Theory (IFS). Alexis is a trauma informed therapist and recognizes the impact of trauma on clients. With a caring and compassionate environment, Alexis works alongside her clients to learn how to better navigate life stressors, learn the skills to manage difficult emotions, and learn self compassion in the process.
