She attended graduate school at St. Edwards’s University in Austin, TX, earning a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. Angela has been licensed in the state of Louisiana as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) since 2013. For the past 12 years, she has been a school counselor for grades 9-12, helping students manage the stress of high-pressure academics, the impacts of ADHD, and the trials of adolescence.

Angela has a passion for working with adolescents and adults who feel stuck—trapped in a pattern of bad habits, caught in a cycle of ineffective coping skills, entangled in unhealthy or unsatisfying relationships, or simply unsure of where to go next in life.

With years of experience in a small independent high school, Angela specializes in helping adolescents manage the impacts of ADHD, from symptom management to self-advocacy and obtaining academic accommodations. She obtained certifications as a Clinical Child & Adolescent Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP-CA) and an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) to better serve her clients. In previous years working in an outpatient clinical setting, Angela has treated clients with a range of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, and substance abuse. Additionally, as a wife and mother to 3 kids, Angela understands the necessity of taking care of your mental health to maintain a healthy family system. She enjoys working with families and couples to improve communication, establish boundaries, and create healthy relationship dynamics overall.

Using a strength-based and solution-focused approach, Angela strives to help all of her clients work through their challenges and stressors while improving their self-esteem and relationships. She guides clients in developing new coping skills to create balance in their lives, helping them move forward with confidence and peace to reach their goals.
