As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience, Ann has a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and find healing and growth. She earned a BA in Sociology from UL in 1999 and her Master of Social Work from LSU in 2001. Ann has spent many years working with individuals with chronic mental illness in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, hospice organizations, and individual therapy focused on individuals with chronic and debilitating illnesses. Her other areas of focus include helping teens and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, and navigating through difficult or challenging issues in everyday life. Ann is trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Ann has led workshops and support groups centered around emotional resilience and healthy relationships. With compassion and a calm, steady presence, Ann walks alongside her clients as they work through past pain, build self-awareness, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
